"I started taking ballroom dancing lessons at Interclub in my late teens. Even though I am more musically inclined towards singing, dancing has always been a part of my life that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, within a year of taking an interest in ballroom dancing lessons, because of time constraints, I had to give up my hobby.
After several years of absence, almost two years ago I decided to revisit the idea of taking classes and have been going strong ever since, climbing level by level learning and perfecting new moves every week.
Ballroom dancing is not only a hobby that brings me joy, but is also a great form of exercise, confidence booster, endurance builder and a wonderful way to meet new people who share you interests."

"When I was a little girl, my mom signed me up for dance class. I was not excited.Performing in front of so many pairs of unfamiliar eyes was not appealing to me. However, as the years went by, I grew up and learned to appreciate everything that my mom gave me by simply signing me up for dance classes.
Being a ballroom dancer has given me a great deal of confidence which helps me in every aspect of life. I do not fear presenting or speaking in front of an audience, like I used to.
Dancing has become not just something that I do, but rather, a piece of who I am. This hobby has shaped how people perceive me and allows me to stay healthy. It is pure fun to get a workout doing something fun.

"I am a student here at the Interclub Academy of Dance and I have been one for over 10 years. I enjoy the great company the academy has to offer, from the regular everyday practices to the themed parties and shows.
The teachers here are great. They know their stuff and come up with good ideas for choreography and shows/parties. The shows/parties are also a lot of fun to watch and be apart of, with all their fun decorations, music, lighting, games, etc.
But most importantly what I love about this place are the people – great, loving, and everyone feels welcome, from many different backgrounds and ethnicities, like a big happy family."
